This Monday, November 17th, Merco released a new edition of the Merco Companies and Leaders Uruguay 2025 Ranking, one of the most important benchmarks for corporate reputation in the region. On this occasion, Felipe Cat was included among the 100 business leaders with the best reputation in the country, an acknowledgment that highlights his career, strategic vision, and contribution to business development in Uruguay.
A ranking with international quality standards
Merco — Corporate Reputation Business Monitor — is the world's first audited monitor. Its development process and results are independently verified by KPMG, following the ISAE 3000 standard, ensuring rigor, transparency, and objectivity at all stages of the analysis.
During the presentation of the ranking —held at the Sofitel Hotel in Carrasco— José Manuel Lancha, corporate director of Merco, highlighted:
“Reputation management is fundamental for any company because it's about managing trust. No one makes decisions against someone else's trust. No one hires an executive they don't trust. No one invests their savings in a company they don't trust.
