The Talent & Human Capital Strategy Manager of Advice, Guzman Sarachaga, he was interviewed by The Observer to analyze how searches for managerial positions are evolving in Uruguay and which competencies organizations are prioritizing today.
In the note, titled “The profile of new managers in Uruguay: what companies are looking for and how much do they pay?”, Guzmán explains that an executive's differential no longer depends solely on their technical experience, but on their ability to integrate people, processes, and technology to serve the business strategy.
The analysis presented is based on data from the Labor Monitoring of Advice, who studied 3,556 job postings for management positions for the last four years. The results show that organizations prioritize, above technical skills, competencies linked to leadership, communication, productivity, commitment, and teamwork.
Furthermore, Guzmán points out that technological transformation is redefining the profile of leaders. Today, those in executive positions are expected to understand the potential of tools such as artificial intelligence, data analytics, automation, and cybersecurity to make better decisions and lead change processes.
This participation reaffirms Advice's commitment to generating information and analysis on the evolution of the labor market, providing evidence to understand the trends that are transforming leadership and talent management.
