We present a new Special Edition of the Labor Monitor, prepared in conjunction with the Uruguayan Chamber of Information Technologies (CUTI), focused on the evolution of IT job demand in 2026. 

• Senior profiles account for half of the tech talent searches in Uruguay. They accounted for 50.4% of the job openings that specified experience requirements in the first half of 2026. While the total number of job postings related to information technology fell 10% year-over-year, job searches for Data Science and Artificial Intelligence grew 12.7%.

• Also included are the data updated to July of the labor demand at the aggregate level (considering all activities).
