Labor Monitoring April 2026
Introducing a new edition of the Labor Monitor, with data updated to April 2026.
- Monthly Report | Labor demand fell by 4.81% in April. This is the third consecutive month of year-over-year declines in employment opportunities. The decrease, however, was more moderate than in previous months and is within the projected performance for the labor market in 2026.
- Analysis Topic | The Silent Closing of Doors to the Labor Market. In a context of low economic growth, global volatility, and advances in AI, there are fewer and fewer job opportunities for young people without work experience. With less room for error, employers are looking for more prepared candidates who shorten the learning curve.
